This project takes us to the grand Los Angeles satellite office of a global venture capital firm, situated in the penthouse of a West Hollywood highrise. As a result of currently underutilized office spaces and meeting rooms, SPEEDBOAT has proposed tailored solutions to maximize the value of these workspaces, with equal attention to elegance and style. We will begin with redesigning the Zoom conferencing rooms, which includes improving spatial organization, selecting the type of furniture and its layout, acoustic treatment, and lighting choices with user-controls for mood and comfort. Our design includes custom metal armature for technology, lighting, screening, curtains, acoustic mitigation, and storage. The design of the room is meant to allow for flexible uses, including focused work, collaborative work, and lounging.
